Yummy Vanilla and butter icing cake

My Post today will be centred on my passion and that’s baking, my friend suddenly felt the urge to bake but she doesn’t know how to so I decided to teach her and Fobers, so here is the recipe for a simple plain vanilla cake, you can make it as a normal sized cake or a cupcake…

Things you will need and measurements.

  • Measuring scale
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Baking pans or cupcake pan
  • Hand mixer or a wood spoon
  • Unsalted Butter—this must be soft and room temperature(100g)
  • Granulated Sugar—200gram
  • Eggs--3
  • Flour—200g
  • Vanilla extract/ essence- 1 teaspoon
  • Milk—150ml.

Measuring spoon and cups.

Scale

unsalted Butter

Baking powder

Vanilla

Mixer

Flour

Sugar

Eggs

wooden spoon.

Milk
METHOD
First preheat your oven to 180c, then mix the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and butter in a bowl until it becomes like large bread crumbs, you use clean hands for this.
Then in another bowl mix the eggs, milk and vanilla extract properly and slowly mix this into the flour mixture and mix with a hand mixer or a wooden spoon until its free of lumps but do not mix too much or too vigorously.
Line your cupcake pans with little cupcake paper or coat your regular pan with butter until it is fully covered and dust it with floor and then pour in the batter half way of the cupcake cake pans or normal sized pan.
Put in the middle rack of the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes and enjoy.
It’s so easy.
